Biography

Lilia Kirilova is a bulgarian musician, educated in Bulgaria, Germany and Austria. She graduates at the National Music School “L.Pipkov” Sofia, Bulgaria and studies Viola at the National Music Academy ''P. Wladigerow''. Then she continues her studies an ''Hochschule für Musik Saar'' (Saarbrücken, Germany) and ''Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien'' (Vienna, Austria).

She has performed in plenty of Masterclasses such as Viola Masterclass of Wolfgang Klos (Austria), Jone Kaliunaite (Germany), Jayme Huertas (Spain), Traian Boala (Romania), Michael Wolf (Switzerland), Vladimir Lakatos (Romania),  Francois Gneri (France), Andreas Reiner (Germany), Et Arsis Quartet (Germany) and others.

Lilia has played in orchestras such as Webern Orchester (2018), Junge Deutsche Philharmonie (2019), Norden Orkester (2015, 2016, 2018) and took part in many Music festivals and Programms such as Academia Sighisoara – Romania (2014, 2015), Music Campus Balchik  – Bulgaria (2014, 2016, 2017), ‘’Euopean Traditions and young Talents’’ – Bulgaria (2015)

She has taken part in concerts and tours  in Musikverein (Vienna), Berliner Philharmonie, Kölner Philharmonie, Danish National Radio Hall (Copenhagen), Royal Concert Hall (Stockholm), Concertgebow (Brugge),  Sibelius Hall (Helsinki), Harpa Hall (Reykjavik) and other halls in Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy and China.

Lilia plays also the piano and speaks German, English and Bulgarian.

Lessons

Lilia teaches viola, violin and piano both children and adults. She has experience already 4 years. The goal of the lessons is to provide high quality education in a pleasant and welcoming way and to help students of any age to learn about, play and enjoy music.

Lessons take place in 1st Bezirk (near Schwedenplatz) or at the home of the student.
